Former Rocket Earns Post-Grad Scholarship

Logan Hovie, a graduate of Neenah High School, and a former Rocket boys basketball player, has been selected to receive the NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship, the NCAA announced recently. Hovie is also a recent graduate of Macalester College in Saint Paul, Minnesota where he earned a degree in political science. While at Macalester he was a three-time track and field All-American in the high jump.

The NCAA annually awards up to 174 postgraduate scholarships, which are awarded to student-athletes in their final year of eligibility who excel academically and athletically. Hovie and the postgraduate scholars will each receive a scholarship of $7,500 for part-time or full-time postgraduate study at a university or professional school.
